Meet a Teacher: Miss Natalya Berg

Meet a Teacher: Miss Natalya Berg

Miss Berg2My name is Natalya Berg and I am thrilled to be taking leadership in the Grade 1/2 classroom for Karen Wilson. I recently completed five years of post secondary education at Redeemer University College in Ancaster, Ontario. This past year has been equally filled with education courses and teaching practicums. As an Ottawa, Ontario native, I completed a Kindergarten placement there this past Fall. Currently, I am teaching in a Grade 4 classroom as my final culminating teaching placement. Overall, practicum experience has been invaluable to my vocational development.

I am a personable, engaging educator, dedicated to my students through qualities of patience, creativity and enthusiasm. I am wholeheartedly dedicated to students’ learning in all academic subjects and strive to awaken within students a passion of learning. I enable character education within students through guiding questions as they develop socially, morally and spiritually. I believe that every student deserves an excellent education in an environment where they are safe, valued and genuinely cared for, an experience I lived through the community at Redeemer University. I am excited to put my education to action, beginning in the Grade 1/2 classroom at Trinity Christian School.
