Clothe Yourselves with Kindness

Dear Parents,

One thing I particularly love about Trinity is our chapel time. It's so special to see each class share spiritual themes that are coming up in their classrooms. Today, we were blessed to have our youngest students in the school challenge us about displaying one of the fruits of the spirit: kindness. In a world that is often self-centered, it is counter cultural to care for the other and carry out acts of kindness.

Through songs, stories, and a simple message, we were reminded  to deliberately show kindness to each other and, in the process, demonstrate God’s love to others. Colossians 3:12, says "Therefore, as God's chosen people, clothe yourself… with kindness." While we clothed ourselves with pyjamas today, we hope that it is our kindness that rests over us like a robe.

We were also reminded that if each person does their part with small acts of kindness, there will be a ripple effect in which we collectively begin to impact the world around us. We pray that this godly virtue would be one of the trademarks of our school, as we seek to reflect Jesus in our relationships.

Sincerely,
J-D Lussier, Principal
