Kindergarten Information Morning
Please tell all your family and friends about our Kindergarten Information Morning on Friday, February 9, 2017, from 9 to 11 am.
The kindergarten information morning provides a wonderful opportunity for prospective parents and their children to become familiar with our kindergarten teachers and the school facilities. The schedule for the morning includes the following:
The kindergarten students will join our kindergarten teachers for play and interactions in the kindergarten classroom. The principal, Steve Paas, will meet with the parents in our library for an introduction to the school.
Our kindergarten staff will join the parents in the library for a presentation on the programming and expectations for kindergarten. Play and activities will continue in the kindergarten classroom with our kindergarten assistants. This may include a small snack, looking at and reading books, more play time, or a bathroom break as needed.
The parents will have a brief tour of the school which ends at the kindergarten room. We will introduce a bus driver and have a brief review of bus safety. Parents and student are then invited to enjoy a short bus ride and return to the school.
Kindergarten teachers will be available in the classrooms to answer any questions or concerns.
As you already know, Trinity is a great place for children to play, learn and grow together! We partner with families who would like to provide their children with:
- A love for Christ and a passion for learning;
- A combination of learning through play and direct instruction;
- An introduction to the building blocks of reading and numeracy;
- An active, playful learning environment rich in print, literature, music, art and hands-on activities;
- An atmosphere of servant-hearted love.
If you know of anyone who would like to provide their child with a Christ-centred education, please let us know by emailing [email protected]. We will contact the prospective family and provide them with a personal invitation to this exciting event. We hope that you will us help us promote Trinity in the larger community and we look forward to hearing from your families and friends.
