Moving Forward

Dear Parents,

We are thankful to God for helping us to provide in-person education to our students for the first full term of the school year. Our students have adapted very well to the adjustments we have had to make, despite some of the challenges that we face.

Rather than taking my word for it though, we thought it would be interesting to hear directly from some of our students as to how they have experienced the first 3 months of the school year.
I interviewed a few students from grade 6, 7, and 8 classes respectively. The students were asked the following questions:

What is one thing that you have enjoyed about the school year so far?
What is one thing you lament (or miss) from previous years?
What is one thing that has surprised you?
What is one of your hopes for the rest of the school year?

Here are their responses: Grade 8B, Grade 8A, Grade 7, Grade 6 Please note that the students were filmed while being 6 feet apart, as per social distancing regulations.

I hope that you enjoyed their insights. We will be doing more interviews throughout the year, as we continue to find meaningful ways for our students to participate in their education and provide them with an opportunity to do so.

Sincerely,
J-D Lussier, Principal
